Street Tacos Recipe: - This receipe will be updated every time I try something new
Ingredients for the marinate:
- 1 lb of skirt or sirloin - Cut in 1/2 Pieces
- 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce, no sodium is better
- 2 Tbsp Lime Juice
- 1/4 Cup of Orange Juice1i>
- 4 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves minced
- 2 tsp Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the marinate ingredients and add the steak. Marinate for 3 to 4 hours.
- In a cast iron pan, heat 1 Tbsp canola oil add the steak pieces and cook until medium done.
- In the meantime, warm up 4 corn tortillas. Combine the chopped onion and cilantro in a bowl.
- When the meat is done, add to each tortilla. Top with chopped onion and cilantro mixture.
- Serve with refried beans or spanish rice.
